WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring, altered state of conscious awareness. Research has indicated that people have 2 minds – the conscious (the logical, rational mind) and the unconscious (the creative mind that maintains your body and is home to your emotions and memories).
During clinical hypnotherapy the conscious mind becomes relaxed. During that relaxed, dream like state, the unconscious mind is receptive to positive therapeutic suggestions and gives you ready access to unconscious inner resources in order for you to create positive lasting changes.
By inducing a relaxed state of mind you can gain access to the greater unconscious resources in order to solve a whole range of physical, psychological and emotional conditions and enhance a greater sense of purpose and well-being.
Hypnosis, used within a therapeutic framework, is clinically proven to be a beneficial, rapid and lasting tool for change. If you have a behaviour, habit, negative feeling or state of mind you wish to change, then hypnotherapy may be the answer for you

Individual Consultations
My principal aim is to offer you goal directed service for a range of issues frequently within 1-3 consultations.
The experience of hypnotherapy varies from one person to another, but generally involves natural deep states of relaxation (in which you can access subconscious resources to facilitate positive change in your life.)
A hypnotic state occurs normally in everyone when certain physiological and psychological conditions are met and with the assistance of a skilled hypnotherapist it is possible to use this state in hypnotherapy to make deep and lasting changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Even though our personal unconscious only ever seeks to promote our well being it can often be the seat of faulty learning from our childhood, leading to low self esteem, under achievement and sometimes worse.
Often it attempts to protect us by raising our fears and anxieties to phobic levels to keep us from a particular activity or stimulus it sees as dangerous.
Utilising hypnosis this way in therapy often facilitates an unconscious relearning process.
This naturally relaxed state of hypnosis allows you to establish more resourceful beliefs and act upon them, resulting in you breaking unwanted habits, changing your behaviour patterns and overcoming limiting beliefs.
Many clients experience feeling more refreshed and positive in their outlook after a session.
